Barcelona hero Andoni Zubizarreta believes Lionel Messi has decided to stay.
The Argentine's current agreement expires in June.
Fomer Barca goalkeeper and sporting director Zubizarreta told Cataluyna Radio: "In the process in which we make our decisions, the things that happen to you influence. These things add up, but I think Messi already has the decision more or less taken in his head.
"The Cup final is one of those things you can confirm. But I don't think it's decisive. He's a veteran and we've all had days where we wanted to quit football. The day in Athens, with the 4-0 victory against Milan, it did that to me. Then I thought things had changed and I would stay ... But 24 hours later I told my wife I had to look for a team ...
"Messi is an old school footballer, he is not a marketing product. He's already old enough to know that sometimes we win and sometimes we lose."
