Barcelona will try again for Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum in January.

The Mirror says Barcelona are interested in signing LWijnaldum and Manchester City defender Eric Garcia in January.

The Premier League pair are out of contract next summer and Ronald Koeman is keen to pursue deals for both players in the upcoming transfer window, despite transfers not materialising in the summer.

Koeman worked with Wijnaldum when he was manager of the Dutch national team, whilst Garcia was formerly at Barcelona. The LaLiga giants made a £88million loss this year and are keen to pursue deals for the pair on the cheap as part of Koeman's rebuild plans.
