Barcelona great Rivaldo has urged Philippe Coutinho to stay.

Coutinho has been mooted as a potential makeweight in any Blaugrana deal to re-sign Neymar from PSG.

"If it was my decision, I wouldn't leave Barcelona for PSG, LaLiga is very competitive and allows you a magnificent international showcase," Rivaldo explained to Betfair.

"In France you don't get any of that, PSG are very much above the rest.

"He played best with Liverpool, but I'm not sure he wants to go back to England."
