Barcelona great Andres Iniesta admits he'd like the La Masia complex to carry his name.

The suggestion was put forward by Barca midfielder Ivan Rakitic.

Iniesta responded: "I would like it because of what it represents and for everything that it was for me."

However, he also understands that "talking about La Masia at Barça is huge." And, in that sense, he understands that "so at the same time as I would not like it because so many players and people have passed through that are as important as me."

He added: "It would be a difficult situation, but, for everything it represents, to see my name linked to it would be a huge honour because it would be for life."
