Barcelona are pulling back from plans to sign Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
Barca directors and players have talked up the prospect of Pogba joining them this season as his relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho continues to spiral.
However, Mundo Deportivo says after doing their sums, Barca's financial chiefs believe they cannot afford to sign the France international.
United's asking price - which is likely to be in the region of €200m - and Pogba's contract demands are already being deemed too steep. And adding agent Mino Raiola's commission only makes any chance of a deal even more unlikely.
However, while Barca are going cold, PSG and former club Juventus remain keen on ferrying Pogba away from England as early as January.
