Barcelona fullback Marc Cucurella is pleased with his move to Eibar.

The defender has joined Eibar on a season-long loan with the option to sign permanently next summer.

Cucurella chose to leave Barca B after their relegation to Segunda B last season.

"It is a good opportunity, Eibar has trusted me and followed me during the last season, it is a consolidated club, there is a good team and a style of play that favours me," he said.

"I hope I can help and keep growing. I want to be available to the coach.

"I consider myself a hardworking footballer who can bring youth and enthusiasm, I give it all in practice to be at the maximum in games, I want to help in everything I can."
