Manchester United are closing on a deal for Barcelona fullback Sergino Dest.

United and Barca have been haggling over a fee for the defender, with the Catalans insisting on €20m to sell.

Dest had been staying on the margins, though Sport says he and his agents are now coming around to him moving to Old Trafford.

After being left out of Barca's squad for Saturday's 0-0 draw with Rayo Vallecano, Dest accepts he has little future with the Blaugrana under coach Xavi.

As such, Dest's agents are speaking with United today about personal terms.
