Barcelona have gone cold on Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte.

Sport says Laporte will not be joining Barcelona this summer.

The recently-turned Spain international had been linked with a move to Catalonia, which would have made him the second centre-back to move from east Manchester to the Nou Camp following Eric Garcia's departure.

Ronald Koeman's side have ended their interest in both Laporte and Juventus man Matthijs de Ligt, needing players to leave the club first before moving to sign a star defender.

Barca are reportedly still monitoring the duo, though, who could make the switch at another time.
