Barcelona finance chief Ferran Reverter says they're now in a position to be able to spend money in the January market.

Reverter has taken charge of the club's economic issues since Joan Laporta was voted in as Barca president.

"Obviously Barça will be able to sign, they can sign in the winter and they can sign in the summer," said Reverter. "But Barça has to look at the signings very well as they do, and of course we can renew (Ousmane) Dembélé. But once again, it may take us a little longer, because as the club's situation is, we look at it in great detail, but there is no doubt that we can sign in winter, because we all know that it is always a very complicated market, and we will sign in summer."

Reverter was also asked about being in England last week, where the Barca director met with City about Ferran Torres.
