Barcelona are being linked with Tottenham defender Vedran Corluka.

The Daily Mail says Barcelona have been looking to strengthen their defence and scouts have been to watch Croatia's games in Euro 2012. Luka Modric was thought to be their target but the object of their attention was his Tottenham team mate Corluka.

The Croat has had a decent tournament and his price makes him an attractive option with Barca also close to signing Spain left-back Jordi Alba from Valencia.
