Barcelona have dropped plans of hiring sports director Elvis Coca.

Barca had been in talks with the Mirandes youth chief about taking charge of scouting for Barca B.

However, past social media posts made by Coca praising Real Madrid and criticising Barca have emerged.

And after a fans backlash, Barca have withdrawn their offer to Coca.

The messages had been removed by Coca, but not before fans had screen shot them and made Barca aware of his apparent loyalties.
