Barcelona directors are becoming increasingly frustrated with Gerard Pique's commercial commitments away from the club.
Complaints about the defender's focus were first raised in preseason and have now carried on well inside the current campaign.
Last week, Barca coach Ernesto Valverde gave his non-international players four days off - which Pique used to fly to Shanghai to discuss his Davis Cup plans with tennis officials.
Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito de Jugones, revealed: "They insist in Barcelona that he is more focused on his business than on the team.
"They are angry because he has done 10,000 kilometres each way and 10,000 back to Shanghai to convince some tennis players, who are ignoring him, to play the Piqué Davis Cup."
Barca directors have complained Pique is now doing more traveling in international retirement than he ever did as a Spain player.
