Barcelona director Vilajoana on Real Madrid VAR pen: A f***ing scandal!!! Munuera, get f***ed

Barcelona director Xavi Vilajoana blew a fuse online over Real Madrid's controversial penalty in their El Clasico defeat on Saturday.

The visitors were given the chance to retake the lead in the 58th minute when Clement Lenglet was penalised for tugging Sergio Ramos' shirt.

Referee Juan Martinez Munuera didn't initially give a penalty for the challenge but went to review the incident on the pitchside monitor. Amid protests from the Barcelona players and coaches, the referee pointed to the spot.

"This is a f***ing scandal!!! Munuera, get f***ed..." Barcelona director Xavi Vilajoana wrote on Twitter during the second half.

The post comes just four days after Vilajoana underlined one of the key values at Barcelona.

"Respect, a fundamental value of La Masia. As a club, we have to be the example of this value," he said on social media.

Ramos scored the penalty to give Real Madrid the advantage with half an hour of the match remaining, with Zinedine Zidane's side eventually running out 3-1 winners.
