Barcelona director Amor: Real Madrid Copa draw leaves us unfazed

Barcelona director Guillermo Amor says they'll embrace the Copa del Rey semifinal draw with Real Madrid.

The first leg of the tie will be played at the Camp Nou on 6 February.

"As far as we are concerned, the most important thing was to be in the semi-final after a very tough match against Sevilla in the last round from which we just about managed to come away as victors," Amor said.

"We have now been drawn against Real Madrid, a team with great quality and one of the best.

"It would have been possible for us to have met in the final, but the draw has pitted us together in the semi-final.

"We are at home in the first leg and sometimes you might say that it is better to play away first so that you have the backing of your own supporters in the return leg especially if you need to mount a comeback.

"Despite this, we are not fazed by having to play the second leg at the Bernabeu as we will approach both games in the same manner."
