Barcelona defender Yerry Mina was delighted with his penalty in their shootout win against Espanyol in the Catalan Super Cup.
The Colombian centre-back explained afterwards that he promised his family he would make the most of his first goal in Spain.
"I always try to be happy, to show the happiness I have inside and to transmit it to those around me," he said after the match.
"I am happy on a personal level and also because the team played a great match.
"I had already said to my family that I was going to enjoy my first goal."
Asked how he has found his first few weeks in Catalonia, Mina didn't shy away from any questions.
"I know I've come to a huge club and I'm working to be at my best for when I'm chosen," he said.
"I don't consider myself the fourth-choice centre-back of this team, but what I need to do is to wait for my opportunity."
