Thomas Vermaelen is attracting interest from both Liverpool and West Ham United.

According to Spanish publication Sport, the Barcelona defender is believed to be considering his future at the Camp Nou and could quite possibly be lured back to the Premier League.

The Hammers are in the market for a new centre-back and are seriously considering making a move for the 30-year-old former Arsenal captain.

However, the Belgian would prefer playing at Anfield under Jurgen Klopp and could come in as a more than apt replacement for Martin Skrtel and Kolo Toure if they leave Merseyside this summer.
