Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has welcomed new signing Arturo Vidal.

Vidal joined last week from Bayern Munich.

"He will bring aggressiveness. He presses a lot and well, he does not hide," he stated.

"He worked with Pep [Guardiola] at Bayern Munich and it shows because he likes to have the ball."

Pique also says he supports VAR.

"It's going to make the sport a little more fair," he said.

"I've been advocating it for a long time but there will still be controversy. We are a country that likes controversy, but it will be diminished and the technology will help referees."
