Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has warned football chief Eric Abidal over critical comments this week.
In an interview with Sport, among several topics touched upon was the dismissal of Ernesto Valverde, with Abidal claiming many of the players wanted the coach to be removed.
After elimination from the Copa del Rey by Athletic Bilbao last night, Pique was asked about Abidal's comments.
"Everyone knows what he has done well and what he has not. Throwing things in our face does not help. You have to focus on the game and win. We must return to that path," said Pique.
"We have plenty of capacity to win and that's what we are doing. We are with the staff and with colleagues. The union is maximum."
He added: "Here we are calm and confident. There is talent to win both titles."
