Barcelona defender Gerard Pique had no problem with the judgment of Mircea Lucescu before victory over Dynamo Kyiv.
Ahead of last night's Champions League defeat to the Catalans, Lucescu had declared Barca not good enough to win the competition this season.
In response, Pique said: "It is normal that they do not make us as candidates after the last few years.
"We have a big squad of players, also talented and we have to work, the results will come.
"It will not be easy, but we are confident that we can do great things. The results will mark the course of this season."
He also said: "It is not an easy year, because of what is happening at the club and because we play without people in the stands, but life is a constant change and you have to adapt hoping that everything will go a little better.
"In the Champions League we're fine, but the LaLiga needs to change and I am convinced that we will do it because there are many young people, they're giving us new energy."
