Barcelona defender Gerard Pique says Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson was like a second father to him during his time at Old Trafford.
Pique admitted that his time with the Red Devils was difficult, and he relied on Ferguson as a mentor.
He stated "I was 17 years old, and missed many things about Barcelona, particularly the food. Fortunately, Sir Alex Ferguson realised my situation and helped me to grow. For me, the gaffer was like a second father."
