Barcelona defender Oscar Mingueza was thrilled with victory at Champions League opponents Dynamo Kiev.

The youngster shone on the night as Barca cruised to a 4-0 win.

"I am very happy. After so many years of work and effort, and so much suffering, it is a dream to debut and even more to do so in the Champions League and with the best team in the world. It is an enormous joy," beamed Mingueza afterwards.

"I had all week wondering whether or not I'd play and when I heard I have become very happy, eager. I have remembered all my family, friends, partner, they have always been there and they know what I have suffered and the work that I put in.

"I hope this is the beginning of something very big."
