Barcelona defender Lenglet: I lost tooth marking Salah out of game!

Barcelona defender Clement Lenglet has revealed how he marked Mohamed Salah out of their Champions League win over Liverpool.

Lenglet played alongside Gerard Pique in the Champions League semi-final first leg tie at the Nou Camp, in which Barca eventually ran out 3-0 thanks to a Luis Suarez strike and a brace from Lionel Messi.

"I had to adapt to the distance I had to keep Salah in," Lenglet told RMC after the match.

"You can not leave space for him to play the ball in depth but at the same time you should be close enough to enter at the right time.

"After the start, I found it a bit easier to position myself and analyze how far I should be to keep it back to the goal as much as possible and to be able to have time to get help from my teammates.

Lenglet added that his efforts in the match will now require him to visit the dentist.

"I lost a bit of tooth, but it's not serious," he said.

"I'm happy to keep losing pieces on a regular basis if we keep winning!"
