Barcelona defender Junior Firpo rejected a move to Arsenal in January.

The Gunners made a move for the left-back during the winter market, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Barca were keen to do business and were left disappointed after Firpo rejected the proposal.

The defender has barely featured this season and is being encouraged by the Catalans to find himself a new club this summer.

Further working against Firpo at Barca is Sevilla would be due another €12m should he complete a set number of appearances. He joined Barca in 2018 for €18m.
