Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has denied claims of a split with Shakira.

Pique has refuted rumours of a breakup via his official Instagram page.

In recent days there has been suggestions that the Colombian singer was ready to end their relationship, speculation increased with it noted that their pair haven't shared images with the other since June.

Barcelona's centre-half uploaded a picture of both his partner and his children with the caption 'Sunday, family time.'

The pair began dating after meeting at the 2010 World Cup, they have since had two children together.
