Barcelona defender Araujo eager to learn from Koeman

Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo was happy with his runout in their friendly win over Girona.

Araujo was the only Barça player to see out the full 90 minutes against Girona.

After the 3-1 victory, the young defender spoke to TV3: "I'm very happy to have played so much and for the performance we gave. The result is secondary and what's important is we are playing well and the team is in a good moment ahead of the LaLiga season."

On coach Ronald Koeman, Araujo added: "He wants me to be calmer and I'm always trying to learn from Koeman. I'm working hard to be in the first-team picture. I gave everything for Barça B and it's clear that in the first team there are a lot of great defenders. But, I repeat, my objective is to keep working hard for a place (in the team)."
