Barcelona coach Xavi has no doubts about the future of Lamine Yamal.

Yamal became Barca's youngest ever LaLiga player after his debut in victory over Real Betis.

Xavi said, "I told him to try things and he did. He was close to scoring and he also created well. You can see that he is a special player and that he can become very big. He is a differential player, with the final pass, he is not afraid of anything, he has an innate talent.

"He can mark the future of the club."

On the 4-0 win, Xavi said: "Yes, after a defeat we needed to react. We started well with dynamism and playing fast. After the sending off, the game went our way and we scored two goals to put the game to bed. It's a pity we couldn't have scored more goals even though we tried."
