Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde admits it will be difficult to bed down new signing Ousmane Dembele.

The 20-year-old came on as a substitute in the 5-0 thrashing of local rivals Espanyol at the weekend.

"We will see tomorrow (if he starts). If I put him in it is because he is ready," Valverde told a press conference.

"He is training well and becoming more integrated into the side. The matches are what decide, if he had come before then there would have been more margin but as it is, it depends on the competition and we have to play the best."
