Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has opened the door to a January striker signing.

Barca sold Munir El Haddadi to Sevilla on Friday, leaving them short in terms of striking options.

"We have to evaluate it. It is clear that there is space following the departure of Munir, as well as the injury to Rafinha who we could have used in a more advanced role," Valverde told reporters on the eve of Barcelona's home match against Eibar.

"The window is open so we will see if we can bring somebody in."
