Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde was full of praise for Ousmane Dembele after victory over Villarreal.

The Frenchman produced his best performance of the season - and earned the public support of his coach as a result.

Valverde said, "He has played a great game, the truth is that he has been one of our most outstanding players, he has so many things ... He has pace, dribbling, shooting, speed, we hope it is not just this game, but that there are many more.

"But the performance comes from far, it is not isolated, we are very happy with him."
