Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde has admitted his admiration for Real Betis midfielder Fabio Ruiz.

Barca have been linked with Ruiz, who featured in Sunday's 5-0 thrashing by Barca.

Valverde said, "He seems to me to be a good player who has played a good game, he has worked us well.

"He is debuting in the Primera and is one of the surprises of LaLiga."
