Barcelona coach Quique Setien has paid tribute to Michael Robinson after his passing this morning.
The former Liverpool and Osasuna striker was a hero in Spain thanks to his commentary work. He was 61.
Setien stated on social media: "Goodbye Michael. We will miss your accent and your calm, your comments and feelings, and that kind character with which you always showed yourself.
"You leave a great void in all of us who appreciate and feel football like you."
Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu also stated today: “The world of soccer is a little more orphaned with your loss.
"Thank you for sharing with us your vision of football and for your way of being, sensitivity and intelligence.
"Rest in peace, Michael Robinson."
