The Catalan side put in a much better display in a 5-0 win over Alaves on Sunday to finish their LaLiga Santander season on a high.
"We've done an in-depth reflection of the situation and we all have a lot of excitement for the Champions League," Setien said.
"We've spoken and we've cleared up a few things.
"This result allows us to go into the future with more confidence and a different morale state.
"It's only been a few days since the last game, but there was enough to mentally prepare ourselves for what was an important game.
"We had to end the season on a better note after being on a very negative one before.
"[Beating Alaves] was a reward for coming through it ourselves."
During those days in between the two matches, there was a lot of talk over Setien's future as Barcelona head coach.
"I've always been calm," he continued.
"It's not my future that concerns me but the club's.
"I'm just another piece in a massive club and I'm not worried about these things.
"I'm focused on working. There are things that I can't control.
"I've always felt backed and supported.
"If it wasn't like that, another decision would have to be made."
