Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has held face-to-face talks with Gerard Pique and Sergi Busquets.
Sport says Koeman has moved to assure both senior players they're required for next season - though their status has changed.
For defender Pique, Koeman has insisted he is an 'untouchable' and will be a first-choice for his team selection. The new Barca coach made contact with Pique, well aware of his distraught reaction to their 8-2 Champions League thrashing by Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Koeman also assured Busquets of his place in his plans - though unlike Pique he won't be a first-choice. Koeman wants the veteran available, but has made it clear he has plans to introduce the likes of Pedri and Rique Puig to midfield next season.
