Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has confirmed goalkeeper Neto wants to leave this month.

The Brazilian is being linked with Arsenal this month as they seek to loan Alex Runarsson.

Koeman said, "It is true that Neto and his representatives have asked the club to leave.

"But we have said no because he is an important player for us and we want good coverage in every position."

Over his 18 months with Barca, Neto has managed just 14 appearances.
