Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman hasn't dropped his pursuit of Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnaldum.
While it's been claimed Koeman has been told by the board the necessary money isn't available this summer for Wijnaldum, Cataluyna Radio is reporting otherwise.
And encouraging for Koeman is news from England that Wijnaldum has rejected Liverpool's latest new contract offer.
Wijnaldum is demanding a four-year contract to re-sign with the Reds. The midfielder's deal has less than a year to run.
Barcelona this week have said goodbye to Arturo Vidal (Internazionale), Nélson Semedo (Wolverhampton Wanderers) and Luis Suarez (Atletico Madrid) to help lighten the wage bill.
