Barcelona coach Koeman: Five wins and we're champions

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman is convinced of their title chances heading into a clash with Valencia.

The Dutchman feels that winning the last five remaining league encounters will be enough to see them lift the title come the end of the season.

"I am convinced that if we win all five games we will be champions," Koeman said in his pre-match conference ahead of their visit to Valencia.

"[Granada defeat] was a disappointment because it was a missed opportunity, but there is no time to be sad.

"We are still in the fight to win LaLiga. There are things to improve, we have spoken and I think the team is well prepared."

Koeman picked up a red card for something he said to the fourth official in the defeat to Granada, meaning that he will not return to Mestalla against Valencia. The Dutchman was asked how he'd go about his job under such circumstances.

"I don't know. First I have to know what is possible. I will speak with Carlos Naval to see what I can do," he said.

"We will speak and we will look for the best solution, if it is possible to have contact."

Claims have been made that Barcelona are not in the best physical shape.

"I do not agree that we are not in good shape," he said.

"I think that in some games we have put ourselves ahead we have not killed off the game.

"There are many more games in which the team was better in the final stretch, than the opposite."
