Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is confident of their Copa del Rey place despite Levante complaints over their first-leg team selection.

It was ruled on Friday that Barcelona won't be disqualified from the Copa del Rey because Levante's complaint was filed too late and, even if the Valencian club plan to appeal, Valverde is remaining calm.

"This has been talked about a lot," he said when it was brought up at a press conference on Saturday.

"I have the feeling that we acted correctly.

"I read the rules and I feel we were in the right.

"I understand that the interpretations may differ, it has to be clear for those who read it.

"I understand that clubs will defend their interests, but we are preparing for tomorrow's match against Leganes with the belief that we'll play another match on Wednesday."
