Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde recognises there's room for improvement from his LaLiga champions.

Valverde reflected on Barcelona's season so far and he expressed his determination to bounce back from criticism.

"The season has been very good and that is the reality," Valverde noted.

"It has been ruined enough by how we were knocked out from the Champions League, but we won a Supercopa de Espana, we won LaLiga Santander with a few games in hand and we can win the Copa del Rey.

"We were very excited for the Champions League and we arrived in May competing in all competitions.

"We know that when a defeat comes, criticism sparks for everyone.

"Then the thing softens until the next game arrives and we have to focus on what we have to gain and not on what has happened."
