Barcelona coach Luis Enrique says FIFA's transfer bans for Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are "unjust".

Enrique tried to remember what he said when Barça received the same ban two years ago and had to check with the media officer, Sergi Nogueras, to remember his reaction.

"I think I said it was unjust when we were banned, no? Well, I think the same now," the Barça boss said.

Luis Enrique added that it didn't stop the Blaugrana "winning titles" but he underlined that the FIFA ban is unfair on the young players who suffer. "It doesn't benefit the players, who can't play, but these are the rules and we have to accept them."

In addition, he said that Madrid and Atletico "both have great squads" although he nuanced that he hopes "they don't have the same results as us during their ban."
