Barcelona are edging closer to the deadline for their emergency signing.

Barca had 20 working days to confirm they want a new fullback after the season-ending injury suffered by Aleix Vidal.

The deadline will fall next week on March 10. Should they confirm, they will have a further 15 working days to complete the transfer.

The chosen option is Deportivo La Coruna fullback Juanfran, though Barca have been told they can only sign him for his buyout clause.
