Barcelona chiefs have recognised their fault in the injury woes of Ousmane Dembele.
The France World Cup winner's season is over after undergoing hamstring surgery last month. It was just the latest of a catalog of injuries since his arrival almost three years ago from Borussia Dortmund.
While Dembele's lifestyle and poor living habits have been blamed for his problems, L'Equipe says Barca management have also accepted part responsibility. There's a belief the training programme set for Dembele did not suit the attacker and may've contributed to his fitness woes.
Indeed, Barca directors have made the admission in a meeting with Dembele, where he was also informed they were consulting with Dortmund about how best to tailor a new training schedule for the Frenchman next season.
