Barcelona sporting director Mateu Alemany was delighted with Adama Traore's performance for victory over Atletico Madrid.
It marked Traore's first appearance since his arrival on-loan from Wolves.
Alemany said, "The match of Adama was very good, that's why we brought him.
"It was time to play a good match against a great team, because in recent seasons it hasn't been that way.
"The best thing is the result and this game gives us a lot of confidence."
Barca coach Xavi also said: "He's a great signing. These are great beginnings. Adama makes the difference. He has power, strength, he dribble past his opponents, he is solid in defence."
