Barcelona vice president Carles Vilarrubí says Manchester City are good hands.
Former Barca directors Ferran Soriano and Txiki Begiristain are now in charge at the Etihad.
Vilarrubi told the Manchester Evening News: "The model we designed in Barca is very fixed.
"Yes, Txiki and Ferran are people who know the model very well and it could be that they have some similarities.
"Of course, every country, every league is different. The culture is different. It's not going to be a photocopy.
"Txiki learned things in Barcelona. They are both smart people, intelligent people and they have designed a specific project for Manchester.
"I am convinced it is in good hands - they are great professionals."
