Valencia ace David Villa has held talks with Barcelona sports director Txiki Begiristain.
El Comercio says Begiristain met with Villa on Tuesday at Real Balneario de Salinas for lunch and discussed a potential move to the Nou Camp this summer.
Begiristain told Villa: "We'll do everything to sign you. We want you to play for us next season."
Valencia want £40 million for Villa.
