Barcelona chiefs are actively discussing bringing Neymar back from PSG.
While Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has been working on a deal for the Brazil captain, Barca have stayed on the sidelines.
However, Marca says Barca's board are now seriously considering a sensational move to re-sign Neymar next summer.
Pep Segura, the club's sporting director, has given two interviews in recent days where he has not denied the prospect.
"If we believe that, despite the insult he made to us, it must be him, it will be him," Segura told La Vanguardia.
It's also suggested that PSG would be prepared to sell - if an offer matching the €222m they spent signing Neymar is met.
And in Barca's favour is the attacker would prefer returning to the Nou Camp ahead of any rival offer - including from Madrid.
