Barcelona chief Braida makes check on Torino fullback Darmian, Pjanic

Barcelona football chief Ariedo Braida was in Italy yesterday at the Olimpico.

Braida took in AS Roma's 1-1 draw with Torino as he continues his scouting plans. Despite Barca's summer market ban, Braida is busily getting around Europe drawing up a long-term shopping list.

In Rome, Braida was making a check on Torino fullback Matteo Darmian.

The Italy international is a candidate to replace Daniel Alves, who will leave Barca this summer.

Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who played for Barca coach Luis Enrique, is also under consideration.
