Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu has cooled reports that they have agreed to take Robinho in a swap with Manchester City for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. It was claimed last night on local radio that Barca coach Pep Guardiola had agreed to take Robinho as part of the deal.
But Bartomeu insisted: "We've taken several months looking at players, but none has persuaded Guardiola. He prefers the youth team players."
Meanwhile, Bartomeu says City are still to make an offer for Ibra.
"To buy Ibra they would have put money on the table, an option City has not managed so far," he added.
