Barcelona chief Mateu Alemany has denied meeting with Lionel Messi about a return from PSG.

Messi has spent this week in the city with his family, sparking talk of meeting with Barca to consider a return.

Messi was also seen dining with Barca players Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba and their respective partners.

Asked about the developments, Alemany denied any contact.

He said, "He likes to come here and he was in Barcelona for a few days as he usually does, but there was no contact with him."
