Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernandez has stated he will not be pursuing Arsenal star Hector Bellerin this summer.

It was recently confirmed that Dani Alves will be ending his eight-year stay at Barcelona to join Juventus and reports have already claimed that the Catalan giants have identified Arsenal's Bellerin as the replacement for the Brazilian right-back.

However, Fernandez has gone on to address the rumours and has stated that he is not looking to pursue Bellerin this summer.

He said: "Hector Bellerín? I'm not planning anything.

"He is a fantastic player but I'm not planning any situation."
