Barcelona chief Abidal studying French market with striker, teenage midfielder in sights

Barcelona sports chief Eric Abidal is studying the French transfer market for potential additions.

Abidal is the major driving force behind Barca's push for Rennes teenage midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The Ligue 1 outfit have quoted Barca over €100m to sell Camavinga this summer.

Also on Abidal's radar is AS Monaco striker Wissam Ben Yedder, who only left Sevilla last summer for a return to France.

Foot Mercato says Ben Yedder is under consideration at Barca as they seek a replacement for crocked star Luis Suarez.

Along with Ben Yedder and Camavinga, Barca are also working on bringing Neymar back to the club from PSG this summer.
